Chef Ella

I made those cupcakes for Ella so she
wouldn't have to bake apples and oranges anymore..
or bananas!
She loves to cook!
Ella got this Rose Petal Cottage for her first birthday from Grandma Libby and Grandpa Phil. We recently moved it into our kitchen and she plays with it all the time now! My mom brought her the little apron and hat set when she visited and Ella loves to wear it when she cooks. The cottage has all sorts of cute accessories..Ella has the oven and part of the nursery set (I think its a changing table, I found it at the DI) and my mom is giving her the sink for Christmas!

Felt Cupcakes

We were out shopping yesterday and I found the cutest cupcake hat and pants for the Lily (we've decided on a name, I even got her a stocking with her name embroidered so its for good this time! I think...) So I decided I would make her a cupcake onesie with felt like Ella's turkey onesie...while I was searching for a cute pattern I saw these felt cupcakes and thought they were super cute and didn't look that hard. Well here is the finished project, 4 of them only took me oh, about all day! But they are done and now Ella has a cute stocking stuffer!
Aren't they cute?
...While I was making them I realized I would need some batting/stuffing. So I found one of Ella's stuffed toys she doesn't play with much and cut it up to use its stuffing. Ella found it and carried it around all afternoon saying, "Oh No Puh (puppy), Oh no, oh no!" Ha! ....

Christmas Tree

Joe put up our Christmas tree the other day...
This is the first year we've had it at floor level..
We usually set it up on a table or something...
So...

...this year we have a half decorated tree!
Ella loves to take off the decorations!
I finally added some ribbon bows and some ornaments that she could put on and take off, so sometimes we have a fully decorated tree and sometimes its pretty naked!
Here she is putting on her cupcake ornaments..
Poor Ella has been sick with a runny nose and high fever the past day and a half, so its been hard to get any pictures where she isn't looking too pitiful! So hopefully she'll feel better soon and I'll get some better pictures!
