Freedom Festival Baby Contest

I had a really bad headache yesterday afternoon that stuck with me most of today too...I got the pictures put up for my Mom but that was all! So now some text to go with the pictures!

Lilys judging was at 9:30 and Ellas wasnt until 2:00, by the time it was Ellas turn she was asleep! So I let her sleep until the last min and then took her over for her turn with the judges, she scowled at them the whole time! ha Poor baby just wanted to sleep!

Lily was also ready for a nap by that time!

After her judging we let her go play in the play area they had set up for the kids..she loved this pool full of packing noodles

Happy Cake

Today we made Richard a happy cake, thats what Ella calls a birthday cake..

Ella wanted to help so I gave her a scoop of batter to play with

and Lily just had to watch..

Then Ella got to decorate and eat her own happy cake

and again Lily had to sit and watch

4 month check up

This morning we took Lily for her4 month check up and shots. We've been trying out the doctor that delivered Lily, but this is the 3rd doctors appointment we've been to and we've only been able to see the doctor that delivered her once..each time we have a new doctor..and today we had to wait an hour before we even got into a room..I think we are switching back to our Dr. in Springville! When they gave Lily her shots she didn't even cry! I was amazed! Ella screamed soo loud when she got her shots! She weighs 16 lbs (75th percentile) and is 26 inches (90th percentile) But her head is apparently growing too fast..it went from the 50th up to the 70th percentile or something like that..So the weird doctor we had today is referring us to a specialist at the SLC childrens hospital..I tried to tell the doctor we just have huge heads in my family, but I think we'll go just to be sure she is okay. Or we will take her to our other doctor for a second opinon if insurance doesn't cover the childrens hospital.

She can roll from front to back

She can push with her feet to scoot her body in a circle
Rolls from back to side then to back again..she hates tummy time!
Tasted sweet potatoes, apple sauce, rice ceareal, ritz cracker
Smiles at everyone
Loves her Sister and smiles when she sees her (or bats her eyes!)
Starting to chat a lot, she has this high pitched scream talk that is pretty funny
Trying really hard to laugh
Loves to stand in her jumperoo
Loves to eat her toys and fingers..but she won't take a Nuk (pacifier)

Last night we went to Grandma Libbys class school play. They did Peter Pan. Ella was really excited to go see it. She got shy when we had her picture taken with Tinkerbell

But she was really happy after!
