Maestro Ella

A Visit from Grandma and Papa!

My parents usually come for Thanksgiving, but this year they came the weekend before so they could be home for Thanksgiving. We spent Saturday morning at the Zoo. Ella loved to run from thing to thing, and was like the energizer bunny. She ran/walked the entire 2 hours we were there.

She mostly wanted to play in the pool of water at the bottom
Our family and the Elephant
Ella and Joe on the Polar Bear..
she was so tired at this point, she cried most of the ride!

After the Zoo we headed to Park City. My parents had never been so we went up to the Olympic Park and walked around the museum and gift shop. My Dad and Joe walked up the Luge track (once was enough for me, at least until this baby comes!) to watch some of the sliders. After we were all frozen we headed home to go to dinner. Grandpa Phil watched Ella for us while we went to Applebees.

My Mom will have a post in a few days with a ton more pictures if you want to see more!

Twilight

TWILIGHT!

Last night Libby and I went to the midnight showing of Twilight. A friend of hers rented out one of the rooms of the theater, so it was a bunch of people from our ward. She went ALL out. She had t-shirts for everyone, vampire teeth, cake, and even a life sized cardboard Edward and Bella! And silly me, I forgot my camera! We took a few pictures on Libbys phone so i'll upload those when I get them.
The movie wasn't nearly as good as the book, but it was still pretty entertaining and you got to look at Edward..haha

Me and Edward
(that is the shirt I got that is a dress on me!)

(we had the hardest time figuring out how to get us both in the picture on her phone! ha)

Turkey Shirt

Today I made Ella a Turkey shirt to wear for Thanksgiving. Its fun to dress her up for the different Holidays, but I couldn't find anything for Thanksgiving that I liked, so I made this one!

I haven't decided if I want to add the bow or not,
and maybe feet?
She wanted to "help" me while sewing so it took me quite awhile to finish! She was soo happy when I was done and she could touch it!

Button Fun!

These are from last Sunday when Stan and Jessica came up for dinner...
The little kids entertained themselves by playing with Grandma Libby's buttons!

This is the face that Ella makes when she thinks she's going to get in trouble! ha

They sure had fun with those buttons!
And made a huge mess!

And this is one of the new flower/bows i've been making

A Day At The Track

The Luge Track that is!
Today we went to Park City to watch some Luge races. Ella had a great time running all over and watching the sliders zoom by!

Ella waiting for someone to come down

If we put our camera on continuous picture taking we could actually get a shot of the slider coming down the track

After watching the sliders we went to the outlets and I got some really cute matching outfits for Ella and the baby. It was a fun day with LOTS of walking!

Disney On Ice

Tonight we took Ella to Disney On Ice. We took her to Princesses on Ice a few months ago and she was too little to really like it. This time she LOVED it. She sat and watched the whole two hour show without one complaint! We sat really close to the ice and she could stand up next to the railing if she wanted. She kept trying to get the little girl next to us to go up with her! She definitely isn't shy around little people!

We got our picture taken with Bruce

Ella before the show startedElla had this look on her face all night, she was soo excited to see everything!
I think at this point it was where the giant whale ate Pinocchio's dad!
She kept saying "oh no, oh no, help me!" ha
She loved cotton candy too!

I didn't get that great of pictures during the show because of weird lighting, but this one shows just how close our seats were! Thats Ella watching the show at the railing.
Beauty and the Beast
I thought Dory's costume from Finding Nemo was hilarious!

I took a ton of pictures but I think the videos turned out better so i'm going to combine them all into one and post that when i'm done!
I guess my video maker doesn't work with the format of my videos, so I'll just post the last video which has a lot of the different characters in it....

This is the horse that Ella picked out at Disney on Ice. She loves it, she even fell asleep with it last night! Its so funny to see her try and ride around on it!

No Hair

So after seeing a lot of babies being born lately with LOTS of hair, I was curious why miss Ellas hair refuses to grow...I was looking at some baby pictures of me and now I know why Ella has no hair, she got it from me! But at least things are looking up, she should have a nice little do by the time she is three! ha

I'm guessing the first one is me at 1, and then the second is at 3
(that smurf in the background is Debby holding baby Jenny
and I think its Dusty is sitting on the chair behind my head)

Third birthday party Disneyland at almost 2

I was looking for a baby picture of my sister, but I can't find one. It will be interesting to see what this next baby girl looks like. My sister and I looked nothing alike as babies, she had dark hair and and dark eyes and I was blonde and blue eyed...although the McShinsky genes are really strong so she will probably look just like her Daddy like Ella does, but it will be fun to see, only 9 weeks left!!

Visiting a new cousin!

My sister in law had her baby today!
They didn't know what they were having so it was a pretty exciting wait!

I thought she looked a little like Ella,
